“Going to Thailand especially solo travelling to train Muay Thai can be a daunting experience but this community made the process so much easier. It made my trip so much better. The community helped me land on Dowden Muay Thai as the gym I chose to train at during my time there. After trying many gyms all around Koh Samui I tried Dowden per the community’s recommendation and it was genuinely by far the best gym on the island. I likely wouldn’t have tried the gym as it was a relatively smaller and lesser known gym compared to maybe Lamai or Yodyut but I’m so glad i was referred to the gym because it genuinely had the best training on the island. Not to mention that the community helped me connect with not only so many people also travelling and training like me but just helped me meet other amazing people which made my trip so much better.
